My name is Bob, and I have been crafting traditional longbows for over 25 years. My bows are designed for re-enactors, target archers, and LARP enthusiasts, combining traditional design with reliable performance. Each bow is hand-crafted in my workshop to a standard 28-inch draw.
Because every piece is made to order, production typically takes around four weeks. Please take this timeframe into account when placing your order. I offer a range of customisation options, including appearance, wood types, and nocks. Availability depends on current stock of materials. The more exotic woods could mean up to a 6 month waiting list, so please bear this in mind when ordering. Click here to see the materials we typically use. As each bow is custom-made, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Returns are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on timing and the condition of the bow, with the expectation that it has been properly maintained. Crecy Bow - From £290, including UK shipping
The Crecy is a traditional archery bow crafted using the Buchanan dip design. This allows the limbs to bend independently from the handle, reducing shock to the hand and providing a smoother shooting experience. Available in draw weights from 40–90 lbs, it offers forgiving accuracy for the beginner archer.

The history:- Crécy-en-Ponthieu is the site of a very famous battle in France. The Battle of Crécy took place on 26 August 1346 in northern France between a French army commanded by King Philip VI and an English army led by King Edward III. The French attacked the English while they were traversing northern France during the Hundred Years' War, resulting in an English victory and heavy loss of life among the French.

The Agincourt is a traditional war bow designed to deliver an authentic medieval shooting experience. Unlike the Crécy, this bow bends through the handle, which can result in some hand shock at full draw—true to historical design. While it is often considered less forgiving than the Crécy, many archers find it capable of excellent accuracy with practice. Available from 45 lbs upwards.

The history:- Agincourt is the site of another very famous battle in France. The Battle of Agincourt was an English victory in the Hundred Years' War. It took place on 25 October 1415 (Saint Crispin's Day) near Azincourt, in northern France. The unexpected English victory against the numerically superior French army boosted English morale and prestige, crippled France, and started a new period of English dominance in the war that would last for 14 years until England was defeated by France in 1429 during the Siege of Orléans.

The history:- Black Agnes is the nickname of a real medieval lady. Agnes Randolph, Countess of Dunbar who upheld her castle against an English siege led by William Montague, 1st Earl of Salisbury, in 1338.
